Yaah, an entry to #theme-of-the-week . This week's theme is Into the Light. And it's the skirt that I made, more info below.
I didn't put so much time on the skirt. Just yesterday I bought the fabric and had a few hours before going away again, so I made it. But I will replace the elastic waist when I get home, and make some more small changes, but nothing that will change the overall impression.
I have been looking at that fabric since early spring, and I even bought the same print in a different colourscheme. So soon I might have a similar skirt in a different colour.
So today I took two friends and made them have a photosession with me. Well I wanted to take photos too. So here is one of the photos, and there will come more. We took over sixhundred photos in an hour, but we sure had fun. Even thou we got stunged by nettles half the time ^.^
Is it just me, or does it scream Mary Poppins?
Skirt: printed off-white cotton. Sewing pattern: rectangular in different sizes for the skirt and the elastic waist. Umbrella, tshirt, socks and shoes bought.
I really like this picture. Not only because the scenery is gorgeous, but because of the light shining through the leaves and how happy you look, yes. It's a happy picture! And I like that
And yes, there are some strong Mary Poppins vibes coming from this one
thanks a lot(!) gah...! I thought I got rid of that muppid song..

I got really lucky with the light, and helped it on the way with PS.
Well, that's what Photoshop is for, ne?
Heh... I can imagine that. I was actually wondering if it was very wise to be standing there
